A Secured Framework for Sharing Data using Diverse Image Media and Image Encryption | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL 2, ISS 12

A Secured Framework for Sharing Data using Diverse Image Media and Image Encryption

Secret images in shares that are either encoded and stored in a digital form or printed on transparencies or are hidden in Conventional visual secret sharing (VSS) scheme. Appearance of the shares as noisy-like pixels or as meaningful images; during the transmission of the shares it can cause suspicion and increase interception risk. Hence, transmission risk problem for the secret itself and for the involved participants in this scheme will be suffered in VSS schemes. To solve the transmission risk problem, we proposed a natural-image-based VSS scheme (NVSS scheme) in which secret images is shared via various carrier media so that the secret and the participants can be protected during the transmission. The proposed scheme can share one secret image over n selected natural images (called natural shares) and one noise-like share. Any kind of photos or hand-painted pictures in digital form or in printed form can be the natural shares. Based on these natural shares and the secret image the noise-like share is generated. The transmission risk problem can be reduced as the unchanged natural shares are diverse and innocuous. We also hide the noise like share to reduce the transmission risk problem. We have also used planned randomness in which during steganography the pixels are not stored in the carrier image original position instead the key is added to the original pixel position to obtain the new position which added additional security. Also we used alpha channel watermarking to find whether the images pixels are changed or not if changed then we can’t get the original image.

Effect on Concrete Strength Due to Addition of Fiber | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL. 3, ISS 1

Effect on Concrete Strength Due to Addition of Fiber

Concrete is most widely used construction material in the world. Fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) is a concrete in which small and discontinuous fibers are dispersed uniformly. The fibers used in FRC may be of different materials like steel, G.I., carbon, glass, asbestos, polypropylene, jute etc. The addition of these fibers into concrete mass can dramatically increase the compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength of concrete. FRC has found many applications in civil engineering field. Based on the laboratory experiment on fiber reinforced concrete (FRC), cube and cylinders specimens have been designed with steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) containing fibers of 0% and 0.5% volume fraction of hook end Steel fibers of 53.85, 50 aspect ratio. Comparing the result of FRC with plain M20 grade concrete, this paper validated the positive effect of different fibers with percentage increase in compression and splitting improvement of specimen at 7 and 28 days, analyzed the sensitivity of addition of fibers to concrete with different strength.

Visual Secret Sharing Provides Security to the Electronic Medical Report | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL 2, ISS 5

Visual Secret Sharing Provides Security to the Electronic Medical Report

the importance of secret image sharing method is to provide privacy and security, which is an important concern in the medical field. Providing authentication and security to medical data is a challenging task. So as to overcome this challenge the visual secret sharing scheme is proposed. In this method transform the secret pixels into m-array notational system. A threshold value is set in order to reconstruct the original image. The original image is being encrypted and is then shared into proportions .A cover image is being provided to each of these shares. The stego image of high quality is being formed. While reconstructing the image the threshold value along with the minimum number of shares is given. This technique is implemented in the medical field for storing and sharing Electronic Medical Report.

Experimental Investigation Work of Diesel Engine by Developing Combustion Chamber Geometry | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL 1, ISS 12

Experimental Investigation Work of Diesel Engine by Developing Combustion Chamber Geometry

Morden internal combustion engines must meet high emission standard including better performance and fuel economy. An increased diesel engine population has created pressures on controlling diesel PM and NOx emissions. EGR to control NOx emissions by reticulating exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber to be burned a second time, thereby reducing emissions associated with health risks and also change in combustion chamber geometry to reduce exhaust emission. Major emissions from a diesel engine are NOx, SOx, CO and particulate matter (PM).amongst these pollutants CO and Sox and some quantity of particulate matters are reduced by some after treatment methods, improve combustion chamber geometry etc.

Modification in Weld Overlay for Productivity and Corrosion Resistance | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL 2, ISS 2

Modification in Weld Overlay for Productivity and Corrosion Resistance

This paper focuses on the modification in overlay welding in the industries. Industries have increased the possibility of severe corrosion and wear in process pressure vessels. The industries must upgrade the corrosion and wear performance of these main important parts. It is essential to surface non-alloyed or low alloy base materials with high-alloy cladding. The Electro slag strip cladding (ESSC) or Electro slag welding (ESW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) processes are appropriate for applying welded deposits over large surface areas. The paper indicates how the modification helped in order to improve the production rate as well as corrosion resistance properties, hence improvement in the quality of the weld overlay. How production is increased with the use of Electro slag strip cladding instead of Gas metal arc welding is discussed in this paper. Material used for Electro slag strip welding is also discussed.

Faults in Transformer Winding and Probing their Occurence by S-Transform and RBF Neural Network Technique | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL 2, ISS 9

Faults in Transformer Winding and Probing their Occurence by S-Transform and RBF Neural Network Technique

Now a days significant enhancement of certainty, reliability and economics of the power transformer is an important topic in power system engineering because among all equipment as for expedition used in electrical systems power transformer is one of the most costly piece of equipment. So that accurate diagnosis of fault has been always been a major issue. Simulation studies based on transient model of transformer winding enhance understanding of surge voltage and fault current waveforms. Those are non-stationary in nature. The non -stationary nature of current waveforms inside the transformer winding requires the model parameter to be both time and frequency dependent. it will help to detect type of fault as well as location of occurrence using simulation studies. This paper aims to present a technique for diagnosis of the type of the fault and location of occurrence. . The proposed method is based on a transient model based transformer under impulse test and S-Transform with good time frequency resolution for all frequencies (multi resolution). S-Transform is used to produce a stock well coefficient vector which utilized as inputs testing set to a Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBF). The fault conditions are simulated by the variation of fault location according to inter turn winding of power transformer or disc. The training is conducted by programming in MATLAB. The robustness of the proposed scheme is investigated by synthetically polluting the simulated voltage signals with White Gaussian Noise. The suggested method has produced fast and accurate results. Estimation of fault location is intended to be conducted in future.

Experimental investigation on effect of EGR on biofuel fueled HCCI engine using external fuel vaporizer- A Technical review | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL 2, ISS 7

Experimental investigation on effect of EGR on biofuel fueled HCCI engine using external fuel vaporizer- A Technical review

The Homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) combustion is an alternative to current engine combustion systems. The research in HCCI is being carried out to use it as a method to reduce emissions and also enhance engine efficiency. HCCI has the potential to nearly eliminate NOx emissions while increasing efficiency as in diesel engine. HCCI adapts a pre mixture of gas-phase fuel and air being burned spontaneously and entirely by an auto ignition process. Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engines promises a high thermal efficiency combined with low levels of nitrogen oxides and particulate matter emissions. The purpose of this study is to summarise the effect of alternative fuel when used in the HCCI engine combustion process. Modification of single cylinder diesel engine runs on HCCI mode with diesel and biofuel. Installation of EGR system on HCCI engine. To study the effect of EGR rate on the engine exhaust parameter like nitrogen oxides (NOX), carbon oxides (CO and CO2), particulate matters (PM) and unburnt hydro carbons (UHC) by running the engine on HCCI mode with biofuel.

Experimental Analysis of Mechanical Properties in E-Glass Fiber Pipe | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL 2, ISS 8

Experimental Analysis of Mechanical Properties in E-Glass Fiber Pipe

Now a day’s composite material products are gently used in fiber industry and automobile applications. Because of it light weight, Low cost and high strength. There are various varieties of synthetic fibers are the properties were identified. But glass fiber is give high strength in low cost. The fibers it will be mixing resin to get good mechanical properties. In this work use E-glass fiber, Resin and hardener to make a composite fiber pipe. We fabricated a standard test specimen in each E-glass fiber (E-glass fiber, Resin + hardener). There addition of additives has to be done to fabricate composite fiber pipe. Finally Hardener is added improve it hardness separately and tested in Micro Hardness Test, Universal Testing Machine, from analysis we found that composite E-glass fiber, Resin + hardener got better Hardness.

Experimental Approach for Selection of Tool Steel Using Heat Treatment Process with MTTF and MTBF | IJSTE JOURNAL VOL-2 ISS-8

Experimental Approach for Selection of Tool Steel Using Heat Treatment Process with MTTF and MTBF

Tools steels are generally used in forming process of operation under definite mechanical properties of the sheet metal. At the same time failure of tools steels take place because of many number causes or insufficient material selection criteria. Under this paper we have taken the five samples as punch materials i.e. EN-31, OHNS, D-2, EN-9 and D-3 to find out the different causes of punch failures. Main objective is to study the effect on the hardness of tool steel after heat treatment processes. Also MTBF and MTTF are reliability terms based on methods and procedures for lifecycle predictions for a product. These terms providing a numeric value based on a compilation of data to quantify a failure rate and the resulting time of expected performance. The numeric value can be expressed using any measure of time, but hours is the most common unit in practice. Fracture surface displays typical ductile fracture, and the outer and inner surface of the part punched off is full of little bowings around which there are many micro cracks caused by the stretch stress under biaxial strain/stress state. This survey also helps to find out the failure mode appraisal in inner lower control arm and punch with their preventive methods.
